Weather Ain't Nothing to Crow About

I woke up last night

Yep, Red Rooster '24, The UK's biggest and best blues and Americana festival, held in the grounds of Euston Hall, Suffolk, near Thetford.  The festival runs from this evening, 30th May through to the night of 1st June, 2024.

Some of the big name artists and bands performing include, William Bell, Asleep At The Wheel, Robert Finlay, North Mississippi Allstars and Muireann Bailey and the beautifully bizarre, Bob Log III. 

William Bell, is a huge catch for this year's festival. He is writer of many, many hits, such as Born Under A Bad Sign and Private Number. He will be performing with Take Me To The River. Here is one of William Bell's latest songs, Let's Make Loving Great Again taken from his recent album One Day Closer To Home.

 Galen & Paul: i.e. Galen Ayers and Paul Simonon. 

There are some big names and some excellent up and coming bands, such as country playing Brown Horse, the cinematic UFO Rodeo, the wonderfully dirty, sloppy-blues of SNAKEMILK, the remarkable Molee Shakes and a new iteration of Vieira & The Silvers.

Brown Horse have exploded into national musical consciousness with their debut album Reservoir and here is their first single Sunfisher.
